When you click "Get 3 Free Quotes," we share your name, email, phone, and address with up to 3 vetted providers in that category. This sharing occurs only after you give explicit written consent by checking the consent box and submitting the form. Each provider category requires a separate consent action.
We may disclose information when required by law or if HomeShark is acquired or merged. We will notify users before information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Compensation disclosure: HomeShark is a free service supported by referral fees paid by home improvement companies when we connect them with interested homeowners. This compensation does not affect the accuracy of your energy audit. You are never required to request quotes to use HomeShark.
When you submit a quote request, your contact information is shared with up to 3 home improvement companies in the relevant service category. Those companies may contact you by phone, text, and email. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of further contact from any specific provider by contacting that provider directly. HomeShark does not control providers' communication practices after your information is shared.
The categories of home improvement services for which we may share your information include: solar panel installation, HVAC and heat pump installation, EV charger installation, home insulation (wall, attic, spray foam), window replacement, roofing, pool heaters and pumps, smart home thermostats, artificial turf, and other residential home improvement services.
We use essential cookies (required for the service to function), analytics cookies (to understand site usage, aggregated and anonymized), and preference cookies (to remember settings). We do not use advertising cookies or allow third-party ad networks to track you through HomeShark. You may control cookies through your browser settings.
We use TLS encryption for all data in transit, server-side API key storage, and access controls limiting who can access personal data. No internet transmission method is 100% secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your rights, we will notify you as required by law.

HomeShark is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, contact privacy@homeshark.ai and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, email notification. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
